Broccoli

Broccoli is a variety of Brassica oleracea. It represents a foodstuff really appreciated thanks to its pleasant and delicious taste, because it has not a lot of calories and it is used in the low-calorie diets. It is a vegetable rich of mineral salts (calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium), vitamin C, B1 and B2. It has also an antianaemic power, emollient, diuretic, healing, depurative, vermifuge. The experts suggest its consumption because of its high antioxidant level that strengthen the immune system.
