Pumpkins

Butternut pumpkin (cucurbita moschata) is a very common variety in Anglo-Saxon countries and especially in the USA and South Africa. This vegetable is part of the low-calorie foods, making only 18 Kcal per 100 grams of product: this is due to the ingenious amount of water contained in it, estimated at around 94.5%. It is orange, because is full of carotene and pro-vitamin A; It is also rich in minerals, including phosphorus, iron, magnesium and potassium, vitamin C and vitamin B.
